How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Residential
At a minimum, once a year will be good choice for some homes.
For many homes, twice a year (spring and fall) is ideal to keep windows looking their best. This is especially the case for houses in rural areas, or areas where there is a large accumulation of pollen and dust.
Businesses, Storefronts, and Commercial Buildings
Businesses storefronts, and commercial buildings often benefit from bi-monthly, monthly, or quarterly cleanings to maintain a professional appearance.
What’s the best time of year to get my windows cleaned?
The best seasons for window cleaning are spring, summer, and fall, when weather conditions allow for optimal results.
Some window cleaning can be done in winter, but freezing temperatures and extreme weather may impact scheduling and effectiveness. If you’re unsure about winter cleaning, feel free to reach out and we’ll advise based on the conditions at the time.
Do you use environmentally friendly cleaning products?
When appropriate, we may use a pure water system with a water-fed pole, which allows for effective cleaning without the use of chemicals. Do I need to be home for my appointment?
For exterior window cleaning, you do not need to be home as long as we have access to the windows. In some cases, we may require access to a water source, such as an outdoor hose, if necessary. For interior cleaning, someone should be available to let us in, but if you need to step out, that is no problem.
Can you clean windows that are hard to reach?
Yes, we’re equipped to clean many windows that are higher or harder to reach from the ground. Depending on the layout and access, we use extension poles and ladders when appropriate. If you're unsure whether a particular window can be cleaned, just ask—we’re happy to assess.
What happens if it rains on the day of my appointment?
A light rain typically doesn’t affect the quality of window cleaning. However, if weather conditions are unsafe or would impact results, we’ll reschedule your appointment. Your safety and satisfaction always come first.
